Dr S. Sheela, Principal, College of Engineering, Trivandrum has taken over the full additional charge of the Director of IHRD on 30th of October, 2014, 12 noon.

             IHRD has constituted a 5 member committee headed by the Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Higher Education Department, to assess excess pay drawn by faculties under AICTE/UGC.

        The Production and Maintenance Division (PMD) of IHRD has bagged the contract of AMC for computers and peripherals of Accountant General's offices (Audit) at Trivandrum and Ernakulam.

The Government had released an amount of Rs.18,08,64,000/- (Rupees 18 crores, 8 lakhs, 64 thousand  only) to IHRD during 2013-2014 for implementing various plan schemes in IHRD institutions.
